CDCP Dentist in Vancouver

Sasamat Dental welcomes patients covered by the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) in Vancouver. Our team helps you understand your coverage and makes booking simple — in the language you’re most comfortable in.

What is CDCP Dentist?

The CDCP is a federal program that helps eligible Canadian residents without private dental insurance afford dental care. It covers a range of services — exams, cleanings, fillings, X-rays and more — based on your eligibility.

Who it’s for

  • Canadian residents without private dental insurance
  • Households under the program’s adjusted net income threshold
  • Eligible age groups as the program rolls out
  • Anyone with a valid CDCP member card from Sun Life

How it works

  1. 1
    Check eligibility

Confirm you qualify and apply through the federal CDCP; Sun Life issues your member card.

  2. 2
    Book with us

Call Sasamat Dental and let us know you’re a CDCP patient.

  3. 3
    Your visit

We provide your covered care and explain anything outside the plan beforehand.

  4. 4
    We handle the claim

We submit directly to the plan so there are no surprises.

Recovery

CDCP is about coverage, not a procedure — there’s nothing to recover from. We simply make sure your covered care is straightforward and clearly explained.

Cost

What you pay depends on your household income tier — the CDCP covers a set percentage and you may have a co-payment. There can be a small difference between the plan’s rates and the BC Dental Fee Guide; we explain any out-of-pocket amount before treatment, with no surprises.

Insurance & coverage

CDCP is itself the coverage. If you also have other benefits, we’ll help coordinate them. Not sure if you qualify? Call us and we’ll point you to how to check and apply.
